Each Year We Select an Exclusive Consignment
Beginning in 2022, Highlander Training Center has been honored to work with clients to offer a select consignment to the Texas Thoroughbred Association Summer Yearling Sale at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie.
With our team of exceptional horsemen, the equipment available in our Fitness & Therapy Center, the relationships we have throughout the Thoroughbred industry and our marketing expertise we can prepare and present your yearlings in an exceptional manner.
Our goal is for Highlander-prepared horses to be fit, athletic and mentally & physically prepared for success at the racetrack.
Attention to detail in grooming, exercise, presentation, hoof care, and nutrition are the foundation of our sales preparation program. We blend good old-fashioned hard work and horsemanship with the newest of fitness modalities to have your yearlings looking and feeling their best.

A few highlights from the 2022 Texas Thoroughbred Yearling Sale
This was the first sale for us to sales prep and present a consignment, and we are very proud of our results.
HTC Consignment Stats:
• 17 sold (89.5% of those offered)
• $42,824 average sales price
• $40,000 median price

Overall TTA Sales Stats for all consignors combined:
• 161 sold (76% of those offered)
• $21,186 average sales price
• $14,500 median price
Our average and median sales prices were more than double the overall sales average and median prices
Our consignment represented 11% of the number of horses sold, but 21% of the total gross sales.
