Highlander Training Center has a proven record of developing young horses for success at both the races and the sales. These developmental programs are customized for your intended purposes, with trainer Jon Newbold leading our “break to race” program and trainer Colin Brennan leading our program of developing horses for the two-year-old in-training sales.

Additionally, of the 24 fastest two-year-olds of 2025 (as ranked by their Beyer Speed Figures through racing of September 1), FIVE of those are graduates of Highlander Training Center (IT'S OUR TIME at Saratoga, CIVIL LIBERTY at Del Mar, BIG DOM at Saratoga, DAZZLE d’ORO at Churchill & MOR FORCE at Lone Star).

And when it comes to preparing your horses for the two-year-old in-training sales, it pays to work with a trainer who has operated at the highest level of the sport and knows the intricacies of this aspect of the Thoroughbred industry. Colin Brennan and Highlander Training Center offer you that opportunity. We are now accepting quality yearlings to enter into our breaking, training, and preparation program for the major two-year-old in-training sales to be held in the Spring of 2026.

Prior to joining the team at Highlander Training Center, Colin Brennan worked alongside his father, the legendary Niall Brennan, as well as at Stonestreet Farms and in the Darley Flying Start program.
